This class is open to adults and kids 12 or older that want to improve their jump rope skills. Jump rope is an underrated skill that has many great benefits. Jumping rope can even out perform running in terms of energy expenditure and calories burned.
Like any other sport, you have to learn, practice and perfect the basics in order to learn advanced skills. By the end of the class, you will walk away with the knowledge you need to improve your coordination and skills, whether you are a beginner or more advanced jump roper looking to improve your double under skills for CrossFit workouts.
If you don't have a jump rope, one will be provided for you. PVC rope will be better for this class than an ultra thin cable rope.
